As part of the redevelopment of the Sydney Opera House forecourt, the GTS diamond rock saw was used on a 14 tonne excavator with an 1800 mm sandstone blade for precision cutting. Rock saws are proving to be a vital hydraulic attachment for excavation contractors.

The GTS2 diamond rock saw was used to cut sandstone in Sydney on a 5 tonne excavator. The excavator attachment is fitted with dust suppression making it an ideal excavation tool for domestic sites.

The excavator mounted rock saws are ideal for cutting trenches in roadside and footpaths. In this application, the contractor needed to lay trenches in an urban environment. The advantage of a rock saw over a rock breaker in this situation is being able to start excavating the trench at the desired width.
